Just getting into mining but I have a software error

I am fairly new to bitcoin and I have a wallet setup and I am looking to start mining but I have a problem with guiminer. I get the following error message-
No OpenCL devices were found. If you only want to mine using CPU or CUDA, you can ignore this message. If you want to mine on ATI graphics cards, you may need to install the ATI Stream SDK, or your GPU may not support OpenCL
Anything I can do to fix this? Or is there a different mining program I can use?

OpenCL won't detect my Radeon HD 6950s on Ubuntu natty

I've been trying to set up my new mining rig, but hitting technical problems. It seems that although AMD outperforms NVidia for mining, support for AMD GPU mining in linux is a bit scarce. I've been trying to follow this tutorial, but CLInfo only detects my CPU as an OpenCL device. I've also tried using drivers downloaded from the AMD website, but no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions?
EDIT: I've also tried using the new 2.4 "APP" SDK.

OpenCL not working for Radeon 5700

I've tried to install multiple versions of ATI Stream SDK. This is for Bitcoin Mining. For some reason it doesn't recognize my card as OpenCL. I'm running Windows 7 64bit. Anyone heard of this issue?

troubleshooting graphics update from 4870 to 6870

I thought updating my graphics card would be simple since I was going from a Sapphire Vapor-X HD 4870 to a Sapphire Toxic HD 6870 but alas...
Original Setup: *GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P AM3 (using original bios) *SAPPHIRE Vapor-X Radeon HD 4870 *Windows 7 Ultimate (last updated in January) *ATI Catalyst 11.2 *ATI Stream SDK 2.2
So then I try to swap the card to the Toxic HD 6870 and the drivers appeared to be not working so I proceeded to (in this order): *Updating ATI Catalyst to 11.5 *Running Windows Update *Flashing my motherboard BIOS to the latest *Updating to ATI Stream SDK 2.4
I am finding my system has a lots of slowdowns and keeps locking up for no reason (one reason why I thought the bios needed a flash). I've been able to play games but I can't use OpenCL for some reason (bitcoin mining). My only plan right now is to try to uninstall Catalyst 11.5 and use 11.2 again.. any ideas ?
Update: It looks like my drivers are not updating. In dxdiag I'm getting a Driver date of 1/26/2011 and DDI version 10.1 :(
